it started with Rosie

valentines weekend, 2021 - our new kitty, Rosie, snuck out an almost-shut door and right into the biggest snowfall our island had seen for 20 years.

Kyle and I searched every inch of our neighborhood for her - knocking on every door, handing out fliers, checking under decks, and peeking into sheds (property lines mean nothing to a frantic woman searching for a cat).

our neighbors were so kind and helpful, reassuring us she would find her way home once the snow melts and that we need not worry.

we worried.

The morning of what would have been her 5th day of snow-cation, Rosie came trotting up the partially snow melted driveway, meowing, purring, and happy to be home.

So as a thank you to all our wonderful neighbors for putting up with our trespassing, and general “lost cat anxiety”, I baked Rosie cookies for everyone. the following week, one of our neighbors inquired about ordering kitty cookies for her friends birthday - assuming i baked professionally - I decided to just go for it and turned my Pinterest hobby into something legit.

I’m Molly Champagne.

A little about me…

I like A-Frame houses, garden gnomes, and saying “welcome to daytime!” whenever I’m the first to wake up.

I do not like Orcas.

My bucket list is short and sweet. I want to attend the Nutcracker Ballet in Russia, visit the Mars Cheese Castle, and shop at every international Costco.
